From the right angle, spanish moss, which seems to be taking over all the trees in the backyard, looks bright and cheerful in the sunlight.
It is difficult to capture that bejeweled look. After four or five attempts, this was the best I could manage. I’m going to try again with this one sometime. It conveys such a look of the perfect summer’s day. This image looks dulled because all the moss strands are too well-integrated here. Ah well.
Afternoon light through spanish moss. (And that sliver of horizontal light in the middle of the image? That’s the first step in what would be an impressive spider’s web. I hope it works on it tonight, so I can see what so large a web would look like.
